![]() Now, select Title Editing in the Media Pool. Highlight the second row of text (abcdef) and type in your text. Double-click on the text (nowhere else, not in the blue ribbon, just the text). Select just the first line and highlight the text. each with a different font and size, but both are highlighted. You get the same box but with 2 lines of text. Now, add in a Caption Basic, like Blue 2. Now you should be able to create complex titles with multiple lines, with different fonts, colours and sizes. Open the box again and this time highlight the first word and change the font size. Now you have 2 words, each with a different colour and each with a different font. Highlight the second word and change the font. Double-click on the title in the preview monitor to open the box. You have 2 words, each with a different colour. In the Title editing dialogue, change the colour. Before accepting with the checkmark, highlight the word on the first line. ![]() Create a simple title with 2 lines of 1 word per line. The real problems start with multiple lines of text containing different fonts, sizes and colours. Have you tried editing your simple title by double-clicking on it in the preview monitor, highlighting the text and changing it? What happens if you select the checkmark? What happens if you select the X? Obvious, no? The caption titles are exactly the same thing. When you create a simple title, you got a box on the screen with the word title on it and a checkmark and X. That someone also placed the title at the right place on the screen, made it the right size, and gave it one or more fonts and one or more colours, using the same title editor that you have.įirst, make sure that you are in Timeline mode, not Storyboard. Some of the captions are not obvious without this knowledge, but the reality is that the title part of a caption is just a simple title that someone made for you with text that you replace with your own. Can you explain better?Īs for filling in the title for some of the more complicated caption templates, you need to understand in more detail about making titles. ![]() I don't understand " captions with transitions." Captions don't go with transitions, they are just fancy titles. need better steps to complete the captions with transitions, etc. This is actually in the manual, at least in the version that I have (18.2.3.82): What happens if you click on it? It leaves a heart so that you know that it is one that you like so that you can find it easier in other projects. I presume that you mean the buttons over the icons under Title Templates - Captions Basic and just about everywhere else, like below: The buttons use icons that are pretty much standard. But, like all programs, you have to spend time learning and trying things out - you won't break anything. In this mouse mode all objects located behind the one selected will be moved in unison.Program is about as easy as they come. Mouse modes With these mouse modes you can specify various working methods of MAGIX PHOTOSTORY DELUXE when moving objects. Till I found this I messed up so many slide shows moving audio as it also moved my photos, no more!! In timeline on the same line as group and ungroup you will see 2 mouse pointers the one without the 3 dashes next to it is mouse mode. This will let you move Music/audio without massing up your photos, in mouse mode you can move anything and it only moves what you want. I hope I have explained my situation more clearly. Maybe this new version of program doesn't do that. I want the music to stand alone from the pictures. With most icons you click to turn on and click again to turn off. I do not want the pictures to be attached to the music in order to move to the beat. I did not know why, then discovered the "attach music Icon" and saw that it had been activated although I had not done that. When I moved the music bar with "my music song" it dragged the pictures with it and stretched them and destroyed all the timing I had set manually. I selected a song from "my music" and dragged it to the second track while in Timeline mode. I put all the photos into the Project by hand and set all times and transitions by hand. I was not using the Wizard and don't want to. No I don't mean the Musical editing adjustment wizard.
